Kitumba Secondary School was established as a third-world school to cater for children from low socio-economic backgrounds, operating on the premises of Kitumba Primary School under the leadership of the late Mr Mugenyi George William as head teacher.
In 2014, the school shifted onto its own premises, where it now stands with well-standing classrooms, a well-stocked library, and a well-equipped science laboratory — a full campus built to match the ambition behind it.
Today, Kitumba serves both boys and girls across O and A Level, offering arts and science combinations without bias toward gender or physical ability — a school that satisfies the needs of all its stakeholders.
