About Us
Kitumba Secondary School is a mixed day school for both boys and girls with both O and A levels, combining arts and science combinations and not biased by gender or physical inabilities that are not beyond their ability to handle. It is a Church of Uganda (Anglican) secondary school aided by the Government of Uganda and was founded in the year 1982 and it was immediately granted by the government. It has a UNEB center number U0377 and has a total enrollment of four hundred eight students. It was established as a third-world school to cater for the children from low socio-economic status, operating under the premises of Kitumba Primary School under the leadership of the late Mr. Mugenyi George William as a head teacher. In the year 2014, Kitumba Secondary School was shifted to its own premises, and as of now, Kitumba Secondary School is operating on its own premises with well-standing classrooms, a well-stocked library, and a well-equipped science laboratory.
